It was an early rise for most of us going to the JCCC tournament. There was a mix up at the beginning when we found out that Yu's name was not on the list but it was sorted out as soon as Harley arrived. It was Spoogie's first tournament and he did really well, winning his first match by two points. Yu Kim had a great tournament as well, making it to the court finals and winning 3rd place. The judging was questionable as usual and lunch meals typically lacked a vegetarian selection...well at least the tournament wasn't in Scarberia this time. Afterwards, we all ended up at the Duke of Kent on Yonge near Eglinton for a royal eating and drinking session...living up to the 'eat well' part of our 'train hard and eat well' motto.
